What does each role in my individual account mean?

Below you will find explanations of each role that are assigned within your individual account.

District Lead: Highest-level district access

  • District Leads oversee all the school’s within their district and can invite and remove members. They can also assign and change roles as needed.
  • District Leads have access to our Analytics reporting for all schools and all members in their district.
  • District Leads have access to Tier 3 and can view students with Tier 3 interventions across all schools within your district.

School Lead: Highest-level school access

  • School Leads oversee and manage their specific school. This includes inviting other schools leads and educators, as well as removing members and managing roles.
  • School Leads have access to our Analytics reporting for their specific building and all members in their building. 
  • School Leads have access to Tier 3 and can view students with Tier 3 interventions within their building. 


Educator: Basic-level account access

  • An educator has curriculum access based on their school access, but cannot manage other members.


Educator + CST3: Educator access with Tier 3 permissions and can add students to Tier 3 interventions. 

Analytics Viewer: This role gives a member access to view data usage reports for their organization. A District Lead with the analytics viewer role can see usage reports for all schools, whereas a School Lead with the analytics viewer role can only see data analytics for their specific school.

Security Manager: This role gives a member access to edit the security information for an organization. We recommend this role is given to an IT staff member who will be implementing an SSO integration or will be managing the security/technology portion of the account.

Billing Contact: This role gives a member access to the organization’s billing information (estimates, invoices, upcoming renewals etc.)
