Google or Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO)

How to use Google or Microsoft SSO to grant access to your staff.

Steps to share the SSO link with your staff: 

  1. Log in to Your CharacterStrong Account
    Visit the CharacterStrong website and sign in using your individual login credentials.

  2. Go to the School Management Tab
    Once logged in, click on the School Management tab.Then, click on the Security tab.
    Note: The Security tab is only visible for School Leads, District Leads, and Security Managers.

  3. Follow the Steps on the Security Page
    On the Security page, follow these steps:

    • Add Your School’s Email Domain: Enter the email domain for your school (e.g., @schoolname.edu) to allow your staff to sign in with their school email.
    • Copy the Preferred SSO Link (Google or Microsoft): Choose whether to use Google or Microsoft for Single Sign-On (SSO). Copy the link provided for your chosen method.
      Note for District Leads: If you are a district lead, you can download the SSO links for each of your schools by clicking the blue download button next to each building's link.

  4. Share the SSO Link with Your Staff
    Send the SSO link to your staff members so they can easily sign in using their school email with the selected Single Sign-On method.

NOTE: Viewing the Security tab is only visible with a School Lead, District Lead, or Security Manager individual account. If you do not have an individual account with these permissions, please reach out to support@characterstrong.com.
